Garlic Butter Steak Bites
Ingredients (serves 2–3)
- 1 lb (450 g) steak (sirloin, ribeye, or strip), cut into bite-size cubes
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp butter
- 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
- Optional: fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Prep the steak
- Pat steak bites dry with paper towels (important for browning).
- Season generously with salt and pepper.
- Sear the steak
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over high heat.
- Add steak bites in a single layer (work in batches if needed).
- Sear 2–3 minutes per side until nicely browned.
- Remove steak from pan and set aside.
- Make garlic butter
- Reduce heat to medium.
- Add butter to the same pan.
- Stir in garlic and cook 30 seconds until fragrant (don’t let it burn).
- Combine & serve
- Return steak bites to the pan and toss in the garlic butter.
- Cook 1–2 minutes, just to coat and warm through.
- Sprinkle with parsley if using.
Tips
- Don’t overcrowd the pan or the steak will steam instead of sear.
- For extra flavor, add a splash of Worcestershire sauce or a pinch of chili flakes.
- Serve with mashed potatoes, roasted veggies, or a simple salad.
If you want, I can also give you a low-carb version, an air-fryer method, or a steak-and-potatoes skillet version.
