Here’s a classic soft and rich chocolate cake you can make easily at home.


🧁 Ingredients

Dry:

  • 1½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • 1½ tsp baking powder
  • 1½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt

Wet:

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk (or buttermilk for extra softness)
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup hot water (or hot coffee for deeper flavor)

1. Mix dry ingredients

In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.


2. Add wet ingredients

Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla. Mix until smooth.


3. Add hot water

Slowly pour in hot water and mix.

4. Bake
