Classic Chicken Salad

Ingredients (4 servings)

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or chopped (rotisserie works great)
  • ½ cup mayonnaise (adjust for creaminess)
  • 1 celery stalk, finely chopped
  • 2–3 green onions or ¼ small red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp Dijon or yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp lemon juice (optional, for brightness)
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • Optional add-ins: chopped apple, grapes, dried cranberries, nuts

Instructions

  1. Mix ingredients
    • In a bowl, combine chicken, mayonnaise, celery, onions, mustard, and lemon juice.
    • Stir until evenly mixed.
  2. Season
    • Taste and add salt and pepper as needed.
    • Fold in any optional add-ins like fruit or nuts.
  3. Chill & serve
    • Refrigerate 30 minutes for best flavor.
