Beef Cheese Ball

Ingredients

  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup cooked ground beef (well-drained and cooled)
  • 1–2 tbsp finely chopped onion
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • Optional: chopped parsley or green onions

For coating (optional)

  • Chopped nuts, parsley, bacon bits, or extra shredded cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook beef:
    • Brown ground beef in a skillet.
    • Drain excess fat and let cool completely.
  2. Mix base:
    • In a bowl, combine cream cheese and cheddar until smooth.
  3. Add flavor:
    • Mix in cooked beef, onion, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Shape:
    • Scoop mixture onto plastic wrap and shape into a ball.
  5. Coat (optional):
    • Roll cheese ball in chopped nuts, herbs, or bacon bits.
  6. Chill:
    • Refrigerate at least 1 hour to firm up.
  7. Serve:
