Here’s a delicious Lemon Garlic Butter Chicken with Creamy Parmesan Pasta recipe 🍋🧄🍝—rich, tangy, and perfect for a comforting meal.

Ingredients (2–3 servings)

For the Chicken

  • 2 chicken breasts (or thighs), boneless & skinless
  • Salt & pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika (optional)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

For the Pasta

  • 6 oz (170 g) pasta (fettuccine, penne, or spaghetti)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic, minced
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Optional: 1 tbsp butter for extra richness

Instructions

1. Cook the pasta:

  • Boil pasta in salted water according to package directions.
  • Reserve ½ cup pasta water before draining.

2. Cook the chicken:

  • Season chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • Heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Cook chicken 5–7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

3. Make garlic butter sauce for chicken:

  • In the same pan, add remaining butter and garlic.
  • Sauté 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Add lemon juice and zest, stir, and pour over cooked chicken.

4. Make creamy Parmesan pasta:

  • In a separate pan, melt butter (if using) and sauté garlic 30 seconds.
  • Add heavy cream, simmer 2–3 minutes.
  • Stir in Parmesan until melted and creamy.
  • Season with salt & pepper.
  • Toss cooked pasta in sauce, adding reserved pasta water a little at a time for desired consistency.

5. Serve:

  • Plate pasta, top with chicken, spoon over lemon garlic butter, and garnish with parsley.

Tips & Variations

  • Extra tang: Add a splash of white wine to the garlic butter sauce.
  • Cheesy twist: Sprinkle extra Parmesan on top.
  • Vegetables: Add broccoli, spinach, or asparagus to the pasta.
  • One-pan version: Cook chicken first, then make pasta in the same skillet to absorb flavor.

If you want, I can give a faster 20-minute skillet version where the chicken and pasta cook together in one pan.

Do you want me to do that?
