🍬 Praline Crunch (Sweet, Buttery & Crispy)
Praline crunch is a crunchy, caramelized nut treat—great as a snack, dessert topping, or gift.
Ingredients
- 1 cup nuts (pecans, almonds, peanuts, or mixed nuts)
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp water
- Pinch of salt
- Optional: ½ tsp vanilla or cinnamon
Instructions
- Prepare pan:
- Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Make praline:
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine brown sugar, butter, water, and salt.
- Stir until butter melts and mixture bubbles.
- Add nuts:
- Stir in nuts and cook 2–3 minutes, coating them well.
- Spread & cool:
- Pour mixture onto prepared tray.
- Spread quickly (it hardens fast).
- Let cool completely, then break into pieces.
- Serve:
- Enjoy as-is or crumble over ice cream, yogurt, or cakes 🍨
Tips
- Watch carefully—sugar can burn fast.
- For extra crunch, bake at 180°C / 350°F for 8–10 minutes after spreading.
