Ingredients (4–6 servings)

Instructions
- Make mashed potatoes
- Boil potatoes until tender, drain.
- Mash with butter, milk, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
- Cook filling
- In a pan, sauté onions, garlic, and carrots until soft.
- Add ground meat and cook until browned.
- Stir in tomato paste, broth, Worcestershire sauce, herbs, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer 5–10 minutes until thickened.
- Stir in peas at the end.
- Assemble pie
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Spread meat filling evenly in a baking dish.
- Top with mashed potatoes, spreading evenly.
- Optional: use a fork to create texture on top.
