🐔 Easy Cheesy Chicken Crescent Rolls

🧀 Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded (rotisserie chicken works great)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or a mix of cheddar & mozzarella)
  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 oz / 1 tube)
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese (optional, for extra creaminess)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped green onions, cooked bacon bits, or jalapeños
  • 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Preheat oven

  • Preheat to 375°F (190°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Make the filling

  • In a bowl, mix shredded chicken, cheddar cheese, cream cheese (if using), garlic powder, salt, pepper, and any optional ingredients.

3. Assemble crescent rolls

  • Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles.
  • Place 2–3 tbsp of chicken mixture at the wide end of each triangle.
  • Roll up from the wide end to the point, tucking ends slightly.
  • Place on baking sheet and brush with beaten egg.

4. Bake

  • Bake 12–15 minutes until golden brown and cheese is melted.

  • Serve with ranch, marinara, or honey mustard dipping sauce.
  • Make them mini-sized for appetizers or larger for a meal.
  • Can freeze unbaked rolls—bake straight from frozen, adding a few extra minutes.
