Ingredients (8 servings)
- 2 medium apples (peeled, cored, chopped)
- 1½ cups all-purpose flour
- ¾ cup sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp cinnamon (optional)
- ¼ tsp salt
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup oil or melted butter
- ¼ cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Optional: ½ cup chopped nuts or raisins
Instructions
- Preheat oven: 180°C / 350°F. Grease and flour a cake pan.
- Mix dry ingredients: Flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl.
- Mix wet ingredients: In another bowl, beat eggs with sugar. Add oil, milk, and vanilla.
- Combine: Gradually stir dry ingredients into wet mixture until just combined.
- Add apples: Fold in chopped apples (and nuts/raisins if using).
- Bake: Pour batter into pan and bake 35ā45 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
