Rigatoni pasta with ground beef and parmesan cheese

Posted on March 17, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a hearty and delicious way to make Rigatoni with ground beef and Parmesan cheese:

🍝 Ingredients

  • 250–300g Rigatoni
  • 300g ground beef
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion (finely chopped)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 cups tomato sauce (or crushed tomatoes)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp chili flakes (optional)
  • Β½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil or parsley (optional)

🍳 Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta
Boil rigatoni in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Cook the beef
Heat olive oil in a pan. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart.
  3. Add aromatics
Stir in chopped onion and cook until soft. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Make the sauce
Pour in tomato sauce. Add salt, pepper, oregano, and chili flakes. Simmer for 10–15 minutes.
  5. Combine
Add the cooked rigatoni to the sauce and mix well so the pasta is fully coated.
  6. Finish with cheese
Sprinkle grated Parmesan on top and mix lightly, or serve with extra on top.

🍽️ Tips

  • Add a splash of cream for a richer, slightly creamy version
  • Toss in mushrooms or bell peppers for extra flavor
  • For a baked version, top with mozzarella and bake until bubbly

If you want, I can turn this into a restaurant-style creamy rigatoni or a spicy desi twist version πŸ”₯
