Slow Cooker Pork Chops

Slow Cooker Pork Chops are an easy, tender, comfort-food meal. The slow cooker keeps the pork juicy while letting the sauce develop rich flavor. Here’s a simple, reliable recipe. πŸ²πŸ–


Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in or boneless pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Β½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup (or cream of chicken)
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Optional: 1 cup sliced mushrooms

Instructions

1. Season the pork
Rub pork chops with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

2. Sear (optional but recommended)
Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Sear pork chops 2–3 minutes per side until lightly browned.

3. Layer the slow cooker
Place sliced onions and mushrooms in the bottom of the slow cooker. Add pork chops on top.

4. Make the sauce
In a bowl, mix:

  • chicken broth
  • cream of mushroom soup
  • Worcestershire sauce

Pour over the pork chops.

5. Cook

  • Low: 6–7 hours
  • High: 3–4 hours

Cook until pork is tender and easily flakes.


Optional: Thicker Gravy

If you want thicker gravy:

  • Mix 1 tablespoon cornstarch + 2 tablespoons cold water
  • Stir into the slow cooker during the last 20 minutes.

Serve With
