Here’s a classic Mandarin Orange Pineapple Marshmallow Jello Salad 🍊🍍—a sweet, creamy dessert salad that’s popular at potlucks and holiday dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 box (3 oz) orange gelatin
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 can (11 oz) mandarin oranges, drained
  • 1 can (8 oz) crushed pineapple, well drained
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed
  • ½ cup cottage cheese or vanilla yogurt (optional for creaminess)

Instructions

  1. Dissolve the gelatin
    • In a bowl, pour the orange gelatin over 1 cup boiling water.
    • Stir until fully dissolved.
  2. Cool slightly
    • Let it cool for about 10–15 minutes (don’t let it set).
  3. Mix the fruit
    • Stir in the mandarin oranges and crushed pineapple.
  4. Add the creamy ingredients
    • Fold in mini marshmallows, whipped topping, and cottage cheese or yogurt if using.
  5. Chill
    • Cover and refrigerate for 2–4 hours until set and fluffy.

Optional Add-Ins

  • 🥥 ½ cup shredded coconut
  • 🍒 Maraschino cherries (halved)
  • 🥜 Chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 🍌 Sliced bananas (add right before serving)

Serving Tip
