🥞 Classic Pancakes

Ingredients (Makes 8–10 pancakes)
- 1½ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1¼ cups milk
- 1 large egg
- 3 tbsp melted butter (or oil)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions
1️⃣ Mix dry ingredients
In a bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
2️⃣ Mix wet ingredients
In another bowl, whisk milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla.
3️⃣ Combine
Pour wet ingredients into dry. Stir gently until just combined.
⚠️ Do not overmix — small lumps are okay.
4️⃣ Cook
- Heat a lightly greased skillet over medium heat.
- Pour ¼ cup batter per pancake.
- Cook until bubbles form (about 2–3 minutes).
- Flip and cook another 1–2 minutes until golden.
5️⃣ Serve
Top with syrup, butter, fruit, whipped cream, or chocolate chips.
