Here’s a creamy, cheesy Jalapeño Popper Dip recipe — perfect for parties, snacks, or game day.


🌶 Jalapeño Popper Dip

Ingredients (Serves 6–8)

  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or a mix of cheddar and mozzarella)
  • 4–5 fresh jalapeños, seeded and finely chopped (adjust for heat)
  • 1/4 cup cooked and crumbled bacon (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Optional topping: 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs, 1 tbsp melted butter

Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat oven

  • 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a small baking dish (8×8-inch or similar).

2️⃣ Mix base

  • In a bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, shredded cheese, chopped jalapeños, bacon (if using), garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

3️⃣ Transfer to dish

  • Spread mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  • Optional: sprinkle panko breadcrumbs on top and drizzle with melted butter for a crunchy topping.

4️⃣ Bake

  • Bake 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.

5️⃣ Serve

  • Serve warm with tortilla chips, crackers, or sliced baguette.

Tips & Variations

  • Extra spicy: Keep some jalapeño seeds or add a dash of cayenne powder.
  • Cheesy twist: Mix in cream cheese with pepper jack or smoked gouda.
  • Make ahead: Assemble and refrigerate, then bake 25–30 minutes until hot.
  • Slow-cooker version: Cook on low 2–3 hours for a hands-off dip.
