Tortilla wraps with ground beef

Here’s a simple and tasty way to make tortilla wraps with ground beef — perfect for a quick lunch or dinner.


🌯 Ground Beef Tortilla Wraps

Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce or salsa
  • 4–6 large tortillas (flour or whole wheat)
  • Optional toppings: shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, sour cream, avocado

Instructions

1️⃣ Cook the beef

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add ground beef and onion, cook until beef is browned and onion is soft.
  • Drain excess fat if needed.

2️⃣ Season

  • Add garlic, chili powder, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Stir 1–2 minutes.
  • Add tomato sauce or salsa and simmer 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened.

3️⃣ Warm tortillas

  • Heat tortillas in a dry pan or microwave until soft and pliable.

4️⃣ Assemble wraps

  • Spoon ground beef mixture onto each tortilla.
  • Add desired toppings (lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, sour cream, avocado).
  • Roll or fold and serve immediately.

Tips & Variations

  • 🌶 Spicy version: Add chopped jalapeños or hot sauce.
  • 🥬 Veggie boost: Include bell peppers, corn, or black beans.
  • 🧀 Cheesy wraps: Sprinkle shredded cheese inside before rolling.
  • 🥑 Creamy option: Add guacamole or sour cream for extra richness.
