Clove tea

Here’s a simple way to make Clove Tea—warm, aromatic, and soothing ☕🌿


Clove Tea

Ingredients (serves 1–2)

  • 4–6 whole cloves
  • 1–2 cups water
  • Optional: honey, lemon, or cinnamon stick for flavor

Instructions

  1. Boil water
    • In a small pot, bring water to a boil.
  2. Add cloves
    • Add whole cloves to boiling water. Reduce heat and simmer 5–10 minutes.
  3. Optional flavorings
    • Add a slice of lemon, a teaspoon of honey, or a cinnamon stick while simmering for extra aroma and taste.
  4. Strain & serve
    • Remove cloves and pour tea into a cup. Serve hot.

Tips & Variations

  • Stronger flavor: Lightly crush cloves before boiling to release more essential oils.
  • Spiced tea: Combine with ginger slices, black tea, or cardamom for a spiced blend.
  • Cold version: Let tea cool, add ice, and a splash of lemon juice.
  • Health note: Cloves are aromatic and can aid digestion and freshen breath, but enjoy in moderation.
