Here’s a simple recipe for Honey Roasted Pecans—sweet, crunchy, and perfect for snacking or adding to salads and desserts 🍯🌰


Honey Roasted Pecans

Ingredients (serves 4–6)

  • 2 cups pecan halves
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1–2 tbsp brown sugar (optional, for extra sweetness)
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven
    • 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare honey mixture
    • In a small saucepan, melt butter over low heat.
    • Stir in honey, brown sugar, salt, and cinnamon until smooth.
  3. Coat pecans
    • Add pecans to the honey mixture and stir to coat evenly.
  4. Bake
    • Spread pecans in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
    • Bake 15–20 minutes, stirring halfway through, until golden and fragrant.
  5. Cool & serve
    • Let cool completely; pecans will crisp as they cool.
    • Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.

Tips & Variations

  • Spicy version: Add a pinch of cayenne or chili powder.
  • Extra crunchy: Toss coated pecans in 1–2 tbsp granulated sugar before baking.
  • Nut mix: Try mixing with walnuts, almonds, or cashews.
  • Microwave version: Combine pecans and honey mixture in a microwave-safe bowl and heat 2–3 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds, then cool.
