Posted on December 30, 2025 by Admin

Here’s an easy, comforting Chicken Cordon Bleu Casserole—all the classic flavors without the rolling and stuffing 🧀🍗

Chicken Cordon Bleu Casserole

Ingredients (serves 6)

  • 3 cups cooked chicken, diced or shredded
  • 1½ cups diced ham
  • 2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
  • 8 oz cooked egg noodles or penne
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper

Topping

  • 1 cup breadcrumbs or crushed butter crackers
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven
    • 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Mix casserole
    • In a large bowl, combine chicken, ham, Swiss cheese, cooked pasta, soup, milk, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, and pepper.
  3. Assemble
    • Spread mixture evenly in prepared baking dish.
  4. Add topping
    • Mix breadcrumbs, melted butter, and Parmesan. Sprinkle over casserole.
  5. Bake
    • Bake uncovered 30–35 minutes, until bubbly and golden on top.
  6. Serve
    • Let rest 5 minutes before serving.

Tips & Variations

  • Creamier: Add ½ cup sour cream to the filling.
  • No pasta: Replace noodles with cooked rice or cubed potatoes.
  • Crunchier topping: Add panko and broil 2–3 minutes at the end.
  • Flavor boost: Add a splash of lemon juice or white wine to the sauce.

If you want, I can share a low-carb version, a slow cooker Chicken Cordon Bleu casserole, or a crispy breadcrumb topping upgrade.
