Ingredients

  • 2 cups self-rising flour
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (full-fat or low-fat)

Optional:

  • 1–2 tbsp sugar (for a slightly sweet bread)
  • ½ tsp salt (if you want extra flavor)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven
    • 375°F (190°C).
    • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Make the dough
    • In a bowl, combine flour and yogurt. Mix until a sticky dough forms.
    • Lightly flour your hands and shape the dough into a round loaf or divide into small buns.
  3. Bake
    • Place on the baking sheet. Optional: brush with a little milk for a golden top.
    • Bake 20–25 minutes until golden brown and firm to the touch.
  4. Cool & serve
    • Let cool slightly before slicing.
    • Enjoy plain, with butter, or as a sandwich base.

  • Best eaten the same day, but can store in an airtight container for 1–2 days.
